Wow – it’s hard to believe we are already in August and only one more month of Winter! Yeah...
We hope you managed ok during our latest lockdown. It has been very tough this time around especially for our children & grandchildren who have felt the loss of their sport, Deb Balls, parties and missing their friends at school. Thankfully we seem to be back on track and let’s hope each time, we are getting one step closer to recovery and an end to the disruptions Lockdowns bring.
Since the beginning of this Pandemic over 17 months ago, we have continued to be open and honest with you about all things COVID and the effect on our business.
As you can imagine, in these turbulent times with snap border closures, it has been extremely challenging for us to unravel bookings at a moment’s notice, make changes, get clients home and navigate the myriad of different cancellations conditions and rebooking terms. Some bookings we have unravelled and rebooked up to 4 & 5 times.
In light of this, we simply cannot keep unravelling, chasing refunds, processing and rebooking multiple times for free and for us to continue to be a strong and successful business, we need to retain unrecoverable costs for our work completed and services rendered.
Our policy right from the very beginning of the COVID Pandemic has always been to obtain cash refunds wherever possible and this will always be the case.
Our new Terms & Conditions apply from 01 August 2021 and only apply to new bookings.
We will now have two options with your recovered funds:
Cash refund (amount recovered from Airlines, Hotels etc) less our unrecoverable costs
Hold 100% of funds in credit with Lifestyle Travel for future use (less $45 per person administration fee)
Be assured our Team will explain all these terms & conditions clearly as well as those of any applicable Airlines, Hotels, Tour Operators and Suppliers, prior to you committing to making a booking.
It’s really important that you fully understand before committing, as the refund & credit terms across the board, are changing constantly and it is now required by law, that you formally accept these terms & conditions, by signing off before we commence your booking.
You will be sent a link to sign off either directly via our website or as a PDF attachment. Please click below to view the link to our T & C’s that you will receive from our Team for any new booking.
